Designed to fit most control arms including E30, E36, and E46
Stop struggling with the repetitive job of removing control arm bushings. We designed and fabricated this custom steel plate to work in conjunction with your 2 or 3 jaw puller to quickly remove front bushings from the control arm.
Our exclusive FCAB Puller Plate fits over the control arm and onto the back of the bushing. The design is such that there is a steel-on-steel fit between the plate and the inner race of an OE type bushing, transferring all force directly to the point of highest friction. The plate is reversible for use on non-OE type bushings that sit flush with the bushing casing as well.
The advantages to using a tool like our new kit over other methods are many, and include:
1. Force is applied directly to the point of friction, not transferred through the rubber bushing. This prevents deformation, slipping, and extra effort.
2. When used properly, will allow you to reuse the bushing if you are just replacing control arms.
3. Much faster and easier than not using any tool at all.
4. Can be used with a hammer to re-install the existing or new bushing without risk of damage to the new rubber, casing, or carrier.
Note: Only tested to fit on BMW 3 series cars. |
